We are located between Koli village and the hill tops which is named as one of Finland's national sceneries. It takes about half an hour to walk to the village, and a bit longer to reach the Nature Center at the top of the hill. Ski trails and national park paths run close by, so it's easy to leave for a day's adventure on foot, skis or by bicycle.
In the downstairs Rahko room well-behaved pets are welcome. There is also an outdoor dog enclosure with a doghouse in the yard.
Upstairs, there are three guest rooms, a shared lounge area, and a shared bathroom. Downstairs, you'll find a breakfast room, lounge area with a fireplace and shared showers, and a sauna that can be reserved. A microwave and a kettle are also available for our guests to use.
In a separate building in the yard, there is a warm ski maintenance room and space for storing and charging you bicycle. In the yard you'll find a washing station for your bicycle aswell.
For breakfast, we always offer coffee, tee and juice, bread from a local bakery, cold cuts, vegetables, yogurt and muesli. We also cook morning porridge. We favor local products as well as organic and fair trade items.

We believe that it's always a good weather for outdoor activities. Sometimes it just needs a bit more imagination, planning, or determination. Of course, having the right gear helps too.
We are happy to share tips on how to enjoy outdoor activities in crisp cold, deep snow, or rainy weather. Nature always has it's own ways of providing memorable moments.
Packed lunch includes bread filled with options like Pielinen fish filling or tofu skagen, a fruit, a daily treat and juice. You can check the seasonal options in our booking calendar and on Instagram.
During the winter season, we heat up the wood-fired oven and cook traditional Karelian stew and vegetable-bean stew for dinner. In the summer season, we grill skewers and serve them with new potatoes and salad.
